The Project
BJH were commissioned to provide and fit windows and doors for 16 new build properties for a developer.
The Products
For this project, the client opted for Profile22 Casement windows, vertical sliders from Spectus, and composite front doors from CompDoor. Each window had trickle ventilation conforming to government regulations.
Profile22 uPVC Casement Window Features:
- U-value of 1.2 W/m²K A+ with double glazing
- 6 thermal chambers in the outer frame for optimal thermal performance and structural integrity
- PAS 24 approved as standard
- Wide range of colour options
- Triple glazing available with a U-value of 0.8 W/m²K A++
- Extensive glass options, including laminated or Comfort+
- Flush design option
Spectus Vertical Slider Features:
- U-value of 1.3 W/m²K with double glazing
- Customisable to meet high security standards
- Trickle or glazed-in vents
- 128mm outer frame
- PAS 24 approved
CompDoor Composite Door Features:
- U-value of 1.4 W/m²K
- Over 250 colour combinations inside and out
- Extensive glass and hardware options
- 48mm solid timber core
- Advanced multi-point locking system
- Chamfered or sculptured frames
- PAS 24:2016 compliant locks
- ABS security cylinder as standard
Safety
- All risk assessments and method statements completed before work began
- Installation teams wore hard hats and safety vests throughout the project
